I am trying to back up the apps on my ipod Touch 5G, delete an album I don't want, and put new music on. I can't do any of these things. I am running Windows 7, Jaws 14, and the latest ITunes. It sees my ipod, but that's as much as I can say. I can navigate around with F6 and/or tab, and delete single songs, but not always the song I think I'm deleting.
I have tried the Jaws with ITunes tutorial, but it wasn't very helpful. Really, I don't see why this has to be so difficult.
Can anyone advise, or point me to some useful help?
Thanks.

Using iTunes
I wholeheartedly agree with the comment above, i.e., "I don't know why this has to be so difficult!"
iTunes seems to be one of the most confusing and difficult to use interfaces with a screen reader. syncing material between devices isn't rocket science. When I have my phone connected to iTunes I'm never really sure which material is on my phone and which material is on my computer, let alone being sure of *where* on each device the material resides! Moving and/or syncing material among devices should be easy (and generally is on almost any device except when using iTunes).
I think this confusion isn't limited to folks using screen readers either. I've seen many sighted people being perplexed over how this interface is supposed to work. People never really seem to know where their photos are, why some photos are synced and not others, how to move stuff from device to device, what is done automatically versus what has to be done manually, etc. What a mess!
I've had a number of Voice Memos that I created on my iPhone a long time ago and which I have never been able to move to my PC using iTunes. yes, I've read all of the helpful hints on the web about how one should sync Voice Memos, but the recordings never seem to appear anywhere within iTunes. Looking for clues on how to get this to work, I also see many, many other folks with the same problems and no way around them.
Truly this ought to be more simple. If anyone has the "magic" that can make this intuitive and easy to work out, it would be appreciated not only by those using screen readers, but even the sighted community!
Sorry about the rant, but this is extremely frustrating and should be easy. Except for this, though, my iPhone is really useful and very accessible. I just wish Apple could get this right.
