I have a PC and am running Windows 98 with JAWS 18. I have an IPhone 6. ITunes is installed on both devices. My ITunes purchases appear on both devices. However, I have been copying CD's into my ITunes library using the PC. I would like those CD's to also appear on my phone so that I have remote access to them. How do I accomplish this? I appreciate any help you can offer.

Syncing
Hi,
They aren't appearing on your phone because music purchased outside of the iTunes store does not upload to iCloud when you add it to your iTunes library. To send music from CD's to your phone, you have to either connect your phone to your PC via USB and sync the files manually, or subscribe to iTunes match so that everything automatically uploads to iCloud and syncs with your phone. iTunes match is the easiest of the two options, but it does cost $25 a year. Manual syncing is doable with JAWS, but it really isn't a fun process... Basically to sync you have to connect your phone via USB, wait for iTunes to recognize it and back it up, tab around the screen until you find the device selection box, select your phone from the dropdown menu, tab to the list of apps on your phone, select music, make sure the box is checked to manually manage music and files, tab to the table containing your music library, select all the songs you want to sync, tab to the sync button and click it, wait for the ding sound that means it's synced, and then eject your phone from the computer and pray everything actually worked. Like I said, it is doable, but not easy, especially if you've never done it before. HTH! :)
Thanks very much for such a
Thanks very much for such a comprehensive and helpful response. Either option looks doable and I will definitely look into ITunes Match which I have not heard of before.
ITunes match
I subscribed to ITunes Match a couple of weeks ago, but I have no idea what I'm doing with it. Can you point me to some sort of tutorial? (I'm sure it's quite easy to use, but I'm getting nowhere with it, lol.)
