I hope everyone is doing well. I’m currently playing The Last of Us Part II on Windows, and the game is running smoothly overall. However, I’m experiencing some challenges with the aiming accessibility features.
I have both “Auto-Target” and “Lock-On Aim” enabled in the accessibility settings. Despite this, I’ve noticed that aiming often feels inconsistent, whether I’m using a rifle, bow, or pistol. Even when I can accurately locate enemies using audio cues and activate aiming with my DualShock controller, the fungtion doesn’t always snap to the target as expected. This is noticeably less effective compared to my experience with the first game.
Has anyone else encountered this issue with “Auto-Target” or “Lock-On Aim,” or found any workarounds? I’d appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

Honestly mate? When it comes to the last of us, it's good, it works, but it's quite cobbled together.
What I mean is the TTS is WAV files from what I remember or have heard, you actually can't stop it. In fact I know it's WAV or some sort of container like that because you can never go word by word, witch would honestly be nice, the aiming? I can't really remember honestly, it seamed to work for me... AH this might help I'm not sure, maybe turn autosway off if it's available. When holding a weapon; humans don't hold a gun or bow completely straight all the time so games have that kind of thing,, hands shake or move and such. Try turning that off if you haven't already.
I've only played on the PS5 and don't have the windows version but I'd assume it would be very similar.
Aming Assist
There's some option for the degree of aiming assist, and it's not in the same section, where all other Accessibility stuff is located. By default it's set to last but one level of assistancy, but for really smoov experience you need to set it to the maximum level. Unfortunately, I'm currently have no access to my PC, so unable to exactly name the option and it's location.
