I use jaws 2023 at work. Someone sent me a link in a teams chat, and I can’t figure out how to open it. I can’t focus on the link. Is there a shortcut key to open a link in teams?

When in the message list, press Insert Z to turn the PC Cursor on. This will allow you to navigate the message area using website reading commands. With the Virtual PC Cursor on, arrow down to the link and press Enter on it to open it. When you go back into Teams, be sure to turn the PC Cursor off if it isn't already with Insert Z again.

No need to mess around with the virtual cursor etc.
Press Enter on the message, which will put you into the reactions. Then simply Tab from there until you get to the link and press Enter to open it.
This is also how to get to embedded attachments. In both cases, you can also press the Applications key for other options.

This is potentially the Microsoft recommended way, although going in to browse mode does achieve the overall goal.
I just find staying in focus mode and getting things done without going in to browse mode far more smoother experience for these kind of apps. Doesn't mean I don't use browse mode, when it's reading artiicles or browsing Applevis, it's browse mode all the way.

thanks for all the suggestions. The person who said to hit enter and then tab made the most sense to me. It worked.
