Hello.
A friend of mine has the following situation: when he tries to connect his 4th generation Focus to his computer via a Bluetooth dongle it doesn't appear in the list of devices to connect. We've already tried installing the freedomscientific driver, but it still won't connect. How to solve?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards.

I'm having that issue too. You might want to go back to the previous version of wintows if you want. Another solution would be to get a USB cable and connect it via USB.

Hi, you don't need to go back to previous Windows. I forget how it's worded, but in system settings, under devices and bluetooth, there is an option for what kind of devices to search for, normal or advanced, and if you set it to advanced and then run the search again, this time it will find the Focus display. I've had to do this several times, but I don't remember exactly how to get to the setting, but it's definitely there, and once you find and change it, it'll work just fine.

In Windows 11 (possibly 10 though I don't recall) it helps to go to Settings > Bluetooth and set the Bluetooth devices discovery combo box to Advanced.
Focus 40 can be difficult even then sometimes, and it can help to move the display different distances from the PC and turn it on and off.
Also recall the Focus must be powered on without being connected through USB to get it to go into Bluetooth pairing mode.
