OMG narrator reading math content?
Chromevox is the screen reader getting real competition now. But narrator and cv are still aweful in terminal narrator especially. But thank you microsoft! IDK why, idk who is the unfortunate soul on earth to only use narrator and not nvda, especially that corporates can conpletely block the installations of narrator addons, aka accessibility / enhancement layers for excel word and powerpoint, IDK why microsoft chose this questionable architecture. But we'll take what we get.
Portable FTW!
I just keep NVDA on a thumb drive, and always keep it up-to-date. I've actually got two of these, one running the latest 32 bit version of NVDA, and one running the latest 64 bit version of NVDA.
It's good for when I have to work with a desktop/laptop that is not my own, I just make sure whomever I'm working for or with understands that without access to that thumb drive, I can't work. 🤷
I do like narrator for basic Windows interface, but I would, never, want to use it as my daily driver. 😱
