Creating a hotkey to connect and disconnect airpods from windows PC

Hello,
I came across an app that brings some Apple like functionality to the Airpods experience on windows. It can do things like bring up a connection dialog and battery status if you open your case in close proximity to your computer.

It is a bit of a mess in terms of accessibility, but with some object nav and patience I was able to create a hot key to toggle Airpod connection. I quite like the way it works. Press to disconnect and my airpods automatically connect to my phone. I press the hot key again and my computer takes control again, disconnecting the phone.

The app is called MagicPods.

In order to create the hot key:
Open MagicPods and tab to the navigation list.
Arrow down and select hot keys.
Using object nav, go into the thing that says Pane
Then go right to the thing that says "list"
There you'll find a few objects called MagicPodsUI.HotkeyDeviceInfo
Inside of each of those the first thing will be the name of the device it pertains to.
From there object nav to the right and you can find a toggle connect / disconnect hot key field.
I rooted focus to navigator and pressed my hot key. That worked.
An unlabeled button appears to the right of your hot key. That is a delete button.
I think you also need to enable run on startup from general settings, which can be found in the navigation list.

It's all a bit of a pain, but so is untangling the wired earbuds I had been using. Things are working pretty reliably for me with the hot key. I think it's only given me an error message once.

In theory you can create hot keys to set noise canceling modes, but that does not seem to be working for me with my Airpods gen 4 ANC version.

It always grabs my AirPods when I want the original state to be disconnected. Any ideas?
