Hi
In two weeks time I plan to replace my Windows 7 computer with a Windows 10 Desktop. How can I copy iTunes with all it's content to an external hard drive? If this is possible, is there a podcast regarding this topick I can download?

Not Sure About iOS But...
I'm not sure how this is done using an iOS device, but about a year ago I purchased an external hard drive for my Mac and a former tutor and I transferred my entire iTunes library onto the drive. I think the way to do this via the keyboard is to hold down either Option key and drag and drop. The process wasn't as straightforward as we had hoped, but it completed and now whenever I want to listen to anything in iTunes I just plug in the drive. I'm by no means an expert on this yet, so if anybody else could chime in here that'd be great. Hth and good luck.
Transferring iTunes Library to External Drive
Hi
You can easily transfer your library to an external drive. All you need to do is copy the iTunes folder, which is probably found in "My Music" on your Windows 7 machine to the external drive. When you get your new computer, copy the iTunes Library to the Music folder in Windows 10 after you download iTunes to your new machine. This will replace the empty iTunes folder with the one containing all your media. More detailed instructions can be found in the Apple Support webpage at the following link:

Hope this helps.
I was in a similar situation
I was in a similar situation when I got my PC.
Luckily I was in the habit of copying various program settings to an external hard drive.
Your iTunes library, by default is in your music folder.
If you're like me and want all my iTunes settings not to be done from scratch, is to copy the entire apple computer folder located at %appdata%
Copy that entire folder and when you get your new PC, paste it into the same area, %appdata%
All you have to do then, is to just run iTunes and you should be set.
Just make sure your music points to the same path or you're going to receive that problem with shortcut message.
HTH..
