watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

hi so I listen to the podcast done by Thomas on latest features and changes in watch os5 and in that podcast he talked about joining Wi-Fi networks on the Apple Watch itself but he kind of lightly passed over it he didn’t talk about actually how to do it and I know how to go in the settings and find the network I just don’t understand how to enter in the password using voice over it keeps popping up with a scribble view which does not seem to be accessible with voiceover and when I try to use the digital crown to select letters nothing happens any help would be appreciated thanks sa

Scribbling is accessible, you just need to know how to draw print letters. If you don't, then I don't think there's another way to join a Wi-Fi network on the watch alone. However it will join any networks that your phone knows the passwords to, so one way to solve the problem is take the phone with you, join a network on it, and if your watch ever encounters that network when the phone is not around it should also join it.

OK I guess I will just have to hope then that my watch will just automatically join the network if I am ever without my phone because my print letters suck and I don’t wanna try anymore to get it to work
