If you wear MFI hearing aids, literature I've seen just today indicates you can pair them with your watch and thereby (my surmise) make it possible to increase the volume even more. since it's hearing aids we're talking about, I'm guessing that volume increase could be huge. Even better, if you don't use MFI hearing aids, how about pairing air pods with your new watch and increasing the volume even more that way?
Press the side button, slide to volume and rase it there. If that is not working, you can always get the RC that just came out. It is the public version for next week. Long live cats.
Hi, not much I can add to the subject line. I bought a new iPhone pared my series9 watch and the volume level fell off a cliff.
Hopeless when trying to use it in busy areas as I just can't hear it.
Come on Apple this 10 years in to the life of the Apple watch this shouldn't even be a conversation.
I know this doesn't sound like a suggestion that should change anything, but try telling Siri, "Set volume to 80%," or "Set volume to 100%." The default volume level is lower on the Watch than it has been in the past; this change first happened about a year ago.
Hello Michael, Many thanks for that tip, it appears to have worked. I now have my volume at 85% rather than 70% before the update to watch OS26.1 but it is certainly better than it was. Much appreciated.

Thank you!!!
Thanks. The volume was at 50. I was able to increase it.
Yep it loves being 50
When I got my ultra3 I had the same issue, apparently system default is 50 after setup
Just updated and my watch is quieter than at a mouse even at 100

Try Telling Siri to Raise Volume
