Is there still an Apple watch App switcher?

watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

I just updated my watch, and love some of the changes. For example, I'm thrilled that we can disable the VO sound effects now. I have one major question/concern, though. I know they changed it so that the side button goes to control panel now. I'm not sure I like that change, but it is what it is. The question is: is there still an app switcher for the watch, and if so, how do we access it now? I'm also frustrated by the fact that they've made it more difficult to switch between watch faces, and some of the stuff on my main watch face is no longer reading as expected. For example, instead of saying the day's date, my watch simply says calendar. The phone icon reads oddly as well, but I know that happened with a prior update and eventually resolved itself. So, basicly, I just want to know if we can still access an app switcher. Thanks!

Yes. It’s now changed to double pressing the crown.

I used to love the use of double-press crown to open the last app or to switch to the prior app, but this is now gone.

Also, the focus is randomly on an app in the middle of the list, not the most recently used one. I hope this, at least, will be addressed.
