Recommendation for a smart watch other than the apple series

Hello all:
Am thinking to purchase a smart watch for me, but i'll not pay more money, because all i need is a good watch that can tell me the time, + can answer phone calls,
this is all i need from it.
is there any recommendation?
No other watches that I am familiar with has the snappiness and accessibility of Apple Watch. I tried a Google Watch and Samsung line of watches and they are slow, sometimes fail to start talking in the weirdest times. My Samsung Watch 6 Classic which is supposed to be the equivalent to the Apple Watch Ultra has no way to pair to iPhone. So my recommendation is to get an Apple watch. I have a second generation Apple watch and it is much faster than my latest Samsung watch.
As the previous poster pointed out, apple watch is your best option. With that beeing said, the cheepest apple watch moddle is the se, i'd suggest taking a look at this one if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
So I updated to the Apple Watch series 10 last year after six years on the series 4. I went looking for alternatives but couldn’t find any.
I like the look of the Garmin watches, and I believe they can be used with iPhone, but they don’t have a screen reader sadly. I had an infuriating interaction with their customer service when I tried to feed back about that.
None of the Android watches work with iPhone anymore to my knowledge. Performance is shocking on them anyway though in my experience.
Really I just want to track workouts and receive notifications. I don’t even need to reply to notifications or anything. And I’d prefer a round watch.
Alas it wasn’t to be. There’s no doubt the Apple Watch is a good product though, so hopefully the SE is in range for you.

The Dot Watch has four Braille cells on the watch face, a dial on the side similar to a digital crown, two buttons, and two touch sensitive areas above the Braille cells. You can use it to check the time, read notifications, set a timer or stopwatch, and read notes that you wrote on your phone. They have thin plastic skins that cover the Braille cells to protect them from dust and things like that, and although the skins sometimes tear quickly, you can buy 25 of them for $80 or something like that.
Unfortunately they don't sell it anymore, and the new version they promise on their website hasn't come out yet, but hopefully they will release something soon. Maybe you could also find a used one in good condition on eBay or something like that.
The galaxy watch 7 sounds more responsive then the watch 6, from what I can tell from demos anyway, it won’t work with Apple, only android devices and works best with Samsung phones

Unfortunately, only The Apple Watch

Agree on Watch SE
eBay has some really good deals right now on brand new second GEN Apple Watch SE models. For both Cellular, and non-cellular versions.
I got nowhere
