Just got the new 13 mini and managed to set it up without sighted assistance, or though I thought, it all seems to work, but the apple watch will not pair up and as someone who runs a lot, this is important to me, so I'd welcome any thoughts? I've tried the obvouse things I think, but will take any suggestions - thanks in avbance!

Which watch are you using, and what part of the pairing process are you getting stuck on?
Serious 6 watch, nothing…
Serious 6 watch, nothing happens when I go into the watch app when I tap on pair to exsisting watch, but I wonder if the watch is still linked to my old phone in some way? I have turned off bluetooth on the old phone but I have it still running, should I shut it down and remove the sim card to enable pairing?
Reset the watch
Yeah, if you've unpaired it from your old phone and it just didn't hand over to the new one, you'll have to reset it from the settings app on the watch and then pair it to your new phone. I ended up doing this when I upgraded a few weeks ago.

I just goth the 13 Mini too, and, yes, I had to reset my Apple Watch 4 in orderto get it to pair with the phone.
