No Voices Rotor on Apple Watch

watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Hi all,

I just updated my Apple Watch Series 9 to WatchOS 11 and can't seem to get the new voices rotor to work.

I've tried adding a couple of voices on both the watch itself and using the Watch app. The voices appear to download and add fine, but the "voices" option never seems to appear in the rotor. I've tried restarting VoiceOver, as well as restarting both the watch and phone (not that restarting the phone should make any difference).

Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?

Thanks for any help.

I've noticed the same thing under WatchOS 11 on my Apple Watch SE (2nd generation). I suspect it's an oversight on Apple's part & hope it will be resolved in the next WatchOS update.

I was just trying to figure this one out; glad it's not just me. I've got the SE 2 updated to the latest version of Watch OS.

I have had the same problem on my AppleWatch SE ii and I resolved it by removing all of the voices that I had in WatchOS 10 and then putting the voices that I want to use back in to the voices rotor. This seemed to fix the issue. I hope this helps.

I have the opposite problem. I only have one voice on my Apple Watch but I still have Voices as an option in the rotor.

just upgraded to an Apple Watch 10 on the latest Watch os and and having this issue where although there is a voice rota on the Apple Watch app but no voice rota option on the Apple Watch it’s self so I was just wondering if anyone has found a fix or a workaround for this.
I know it’s a bit of a first world problem but the only voice I can get on my Apple Watch right now is Daniel the British English voice and it’s my least favourite voice.
Thanks in advance
