I have a series 1 Apple watch and want to delete some unused apps off of it. I assumed that I needed to do it using my phone, but can't seem to work out how.
Could any one please tell me some step by step directions on how to do this? Thank you.
Hi,
I have an Apple Watch Series 4 running Watch OS 5 but this should work the same way. Locate the app you want to delete on your watch, swipe down with one finger and VoiceOver should say ‘ddelete’. Then double tap and a dialogue should show asking if you are sure so then swipe right once to ‘delete app’. All this is done from the Apple Watch, not the phone. Hope that helps :)
Thanks for the advice. I tried it, but going into Edit mode and then swiping left or right only gave me the option of moving the particular app left or right. Being a series 1, I think it's more connected with the phone as Siri, message alerts etc. won't work unless the phone is turned on.

Thanks anyway.
