Can't get rid of Daniel

So, I took receipt of my Apple Watch series 10 yesterday. It has been upgraded to watchOS 11.3 and I'm in the UK, but no matter what I do, I cannot change my VoiceOver primary voice from Daniel who is, quite frankly, hideous. I've downloaded my Siri voice which is what I want. I in fact have two copies of this as I can confirm in my rotor, but when I double tap on use voice, I simply get Daniel slowed down And nothing changes. I was hoping that leaving my watch on charge overnight would mean that the voice would download properly but it would seem not. Please help. Other than changing the language on my watch, I'm not entirely sure what to do here, but I can't continue with Daniel. It's a hideous voice
