I updated my Series 6 to 10.4 this week. On Friday I attempted to pay at a store I've been to many times, and it wouldn't work. I checked the watch, and had the correct account selected. The clerk said the terminal screen said to check the phone. There was nothing on my iPhone. I tried a couple more times, and then just waved the phone and it went through.
I saw something about a change when using gestures on the watch, and needing a PIN. I don't use any gestures, though I might have turned it on to test a long time ago. I did not see a prompt for a PIN on either my watch or phone.
Any one else have this?
I want to get back to just using the watch independently andv confidently at terminals. Well, I still have to ask someone to hit the "Okay" button on the terminal.
