tvOS and Apple TV Apps

Hey guys. So loving the new Apple TV so far. Everything for me has been very accessible out of the box. However Hulu seems to be reading nothing at all. I move around in the app and it makes the usual scrolling sound but no feedback at all from voiceover. Anyone having this problem?

Yes, the app is inaccessible right now, but they'd assured me multiple times on twitter that they're working on an update. One work-around is you use the universal search feature with Siri to find what you want to play through Hulu until they fix the app. And no, they have no ETA on when it will be resolved.

So I actually tried using the universal search to get empire and the Vampire Diaries to play; and after I clicked the episode I wanted, hit open in Hulu from the siri options, I still found that it doesn't play automatically. I suspect that it merely takes you to the show page and you still have to click on the episode you want to watch. Has anyone else experienced this; or does anyone have any tricks to get the episode to play automatically after hitting open in Hulu? I even tried pressing the play button and nothing. It's upsetting to me that the Apple tv was so expensive and Hulu developers couldn't get it together. At least I have my old one, which thankfully Hulu still seems to work on.

Hi, all! I've never had Hulu before, but just last night, I decided to download the app on my 4th gen apple TV, sign up for the 7 day free trial, and see what happened. I have no idea what the issues may have been in the past, but so far as I could tell, the app worked great with VO last night. It let me swipe through all the genre choices, and I was able to find and watch the UK version of Who's Line is it Anyway with no effort at all. No clue if it matters, but I didn't sign up through Hulu directly; I've signed up for it to be billed through my ITunes account. Need to find out if there are limits to the number of devices my account can access; guess I'll visit the Hulu web site for that info. Anyway, if anyone is interested, I'd be happy to record a quick podcast on the new app.

I have had Hulu in the past so when I got my Apple TV fourth generation model, one of the first apps downloaded was the Hulu app. Of course, it didn't work. After reading the previous post, I tried it but it didn't respond. I deleted and redownloaded the app and was able to gain complete access. Uncertain why an update didn't fix the problem but the redownloading did. I double checked to confirm that my apps were up-to-date, before deleting, and they were. Glad they finally fix the VO issues.
