This morning, I was trying to navigate my Apple tV to find something to watch, as I often do. Voiceover was only letting me navigate horizontally. I thought that direct touch must have somehow gotten turned off, so I looked through my rotor. And looked... and looked. No direct touch option. Then I went into the rotor settings in settings>accessibility>voiceover>rotor. Still no direct touch. The TV is usable in this state, though I would hardly call it an efficient experience. Anybody have any fixes for this?
Cheers!

I also dealt with the issue being described. The only way for me to restore it was by doing a full factory reset.
Hello, i have fix for this.
I don’t know why this happens . But fix is; you have to tap quickly 4 times with 2 finger on a touch surface. It will enable direct touch. Hopes this helps.
