have you ever had to reactivate an app?

Hello,
I just had the strangest thing happen with my apple tv 4th gen. I was watching my cbs app when the stream stopped, I closed and reopened the app, turns out I had to reactivate it, I didn't have to resubscribe to the service I just had to re enter the code.
Anyone else experienced this issue yet? I haven't looked at my other apps to see if the same needs to happen with those.
