apple tv questions

Hello. I have a couple of questions I'd like to ask. I recently purchased an apple tv and am really enjoying it. I am however, having a problem. I haven't been much of a music purchaser, as I use a music subscription service to get most of my music. I do however have one album, as well as one song from an incomplete album. on my apple tv, I can only see under music the album I purchased, not the single song. Any ideas? When I go to purchased on my iPhone or iTunes on my mac, I see the single song just fine. Secondly, on another topic, does anyone know how to get the serial number for apple tv when you go to it apple tv just reads the entire block screen. there is no way to spell things out on the apple tv. Perhaps I will write apple and let the know it would be nice to have a roter similar to IOS Thanks for any help.
