Seeing there is an app directory for IOS and Mac apps, even Apple watch I think too but not sure, I think it would be a very helpful and informative thing to make one for apps for the new apple tv 4th generation. The same can be done as always: The name of the app, description if given, weather it is accessible and so on. What do you all think?

Great idea!
I agree with this suggestion whole-heartedly. At the moment, the only apps I've installed on my apple TV are Netflix and Youtube, but if there's a directory here of accessible apps, I would certainly consider adding more apps to my Apple TV over time.
Coming
This will come in time, but for now we are waiting for it to become completely clear as to what information and potential issues we should be seeking to document.
As it stands right now, the App Store on the Apple TV still appears to be somewhat of a ‘work in progress’. For example, Apple has still to roll out full support for App categories. It’s also likely that they will at some point (hopefully soon) provide a web interface for the App Store (much like there already is both the iOS and Mac App Stores). Once that happens, it will make it much easier for us to document and check the information about Apps. This and things such as a ‘Share’ option must be in the pipeline, as for now it is almost impossible to discover apps which Apple isn’t actively featuring.
App Directory
Thanks to the team for considering this idea. For now, I hope that people will share apps which they find to work well.
apple tv
yes its a great idea. i would also love to see accessible games like nfl football, baseball, blind danger, the zombie game made by the papa sangre devs i think and other fun apple TVOS games. this apple tv is on par with the xbox360 as far as power goes and would be more than capable of running audio games and lots of cool apps!
netflix
also if there is a way to turn on audio description in netflix and in apple movies on apple tv 4th gen please let me know.
re: Netflix
If you haven't found it yet, there's a thread on this topic. You can enable audio description in settings on the apple TV itself; think it's in the Accessibility menu like it is on the iphone. The Netflix issue is a bit more complicated, but I do have it working on my two Apple TV's, so it can be done. Just search for Netflix and you'll find the thread pretty easily.
Netflix
Hi there at the moment you can't switch on AD on Netflix on the new Apple TV but if you contact Netflix they will do it for you, kind of annoying they didn't sort this out before the release but at least they have the ability to do it at there end so not a great pain in the backside to give a quick call I've always found their customer services really friendly.
re-netflix
hi just found out another way to enable audio description if you have the netflix iOS app installed on a iPhone or iPad play the movie go to language options and hit the english ad audio description once i did that it activated it on all my devices including my IPAD
apple tv directory
hi,
i think that the apple tv should have a directory regardless and that we can add information in time when and as necessary.
the sooner the directory starts to be built the better. whether it be games or whatever, as long as we can gage accessibility then that is the most important thing after all.
