Hi all,

Could somebody give me a step by step for using the Vesync iPhone app to control the Cosori smart air fryer please? I'm able to use the air fryer manually, but as sensitive as the screen is I feel like it'll be easier to use the phone. Btw if it matters I have the pro III fryer, model number CAF-P583S-KUS.

I think I have the fryer connected to wifi because when I do cook manually I get a notification on my phone when the food is ready, and I've been in touch with Cosori's tech support and they haven't been much help to me.

Also I've looked for help on google but all I can find are youtube videos that aren't very descriptive.

Hi ok first of all you oapin the vysinc app. then once the app is oapin arrow over to your air fryer let's call it troy's air fryer. dubble tap on that. then you will be persented with a menu. this menu will include things like apatisers disurts sides etc. swipe right past all of these options. then you will get to a place that you can set the tempiture this is a picker you flick up or down between 350 400 etc once you find the temp you are looking for just dubble tap on that. then swipe right again and you will come on to a start button dubble tap on that and the fryer will start. when it is dun you will hear 3 long beeps and you will get a alert that says troy's air fryer your food is reddy enjoy.
that is all there is to it. you can also set this up through google minni and all you need to say is hey google start air fryer and it will start it and if you have not gone into the vysinc app and changed anything then it will cook for 20 minnits or 10 minnits. o yes that is another thing before you get to the start button there will be another picker wich will be the minnits that you want to cook the meal for. so again this will be a picker where you dubble tap and flick up or down and vo will read all of the choices to you like 10 20 30 etc. I hope all this helps. if you do have a google minni i would addvise you to set it up with that as well so you can just say hey google start air fryer and it will.
I know it will work with ladey a but I don't ahve a alexa so have no idea how to set it up with that. but with google minni you go into the google app and look for set up device and then pick the fryer in the device list. also when setting up the fryer using vysic you will need to pick the number of your fryer. I don't remember if vo reads this out to you or not so that might be a step that you need sighted help with. i hope this helps. from Mich.

Thanks Mitch, this sounds like what I've been looking for.

Btw where do I go in the app to change the name of the fryer? I changed the name when I first received it over a month ago but after I had so much trouble figuring it out I unplugged it and replugged it hoping to reset it. The only thing that seemed to do was to change the name back to what it was originally and I can't find where to change it now.

Oh and I may try to tackle making the fryer work with alexa later on, but for me getting it to work with the phone is first.

When I open the Vesync app and start swiping right the fryer's not listed. The fryer is on at that time, and at some point in swiping after I get past lighting, purifiers etc there are buttons labeled device, my devices, and kitchen but nothing happens when I double-tap these buttons. I supposedly assigned the fryer to the kitchen in the area set for that so I thought double-tapping kitchen would show me the fryer but it didn't. What now?

I know that the app changes, or I should say, the interface changes, depending on the model. At least on mine, I have to choose the air fryer. Whatever the name or model you have. Then, you can choose any of the presets, or move the sliders yourself, and press the start Cooking button. You will still have to press the start button on the air fryer to get it going.
Maybe a FaceTime call would be beneficial?
