I am looking for an accessible device for measuring the humidity in my house. If anyone has a recommendation for such a device that can measure indoor humidity relatively accurately whose readings I can check on my iPhone that would be great. I like to keep the humidity in my house between 30 and 40 percent to keep my piano happy in this dry state of Colorado.
thanks for any recommendations.

Hey Pete, Love to hear if…
Hey Pete,
Love to hear if you found anything. I've used Govee Smart Wifi Sensors for this in the past, the App was somewhat useable, enough for me to make out what was happening, but not much else. Love to hear from others.
Re: Accessible hygrometer
I bought a small device about the size of a quarter that will measure temperature and relative humidity wherever you put it.
The device is from a company called Blue Maestro. They have a number of such devices for various uses, some outdoors and some indoors.
The device collects and sends data to your iPhone over bluetooth. Using their app you can see the current temperature and humidity and also export the accumulated data to your e-mail account as a spreadsheet. You can also set the time interval between measurements.
The app is useable with Voiceover but could be a little bit cleaner. Thus, a bit tricky, but certainly workable when you get used to it.
I use the device to monitor the temperature and humidity inside my piano since I have found that keeping the humidity relatively constant keeps it much better in tune for much longer.
Hope that helps.
