Hello members and development team.
I have noticed that after a few days of inactivity from my Applevis account my devices will log out.
Forcing me to reenter my username and password to login to comment or post.
This is slightly inconvenient and I would suggest this feature be removed or only prompting a session expire after 2 months or longer
Thank you for reading my post.

Working on a Solution
Thank you all for the feedback. Below are some answers:
Thanks,

I just figured it would have to do that for security reasons
I just figured it would log you out for security reasons. It makes sense because if it kept you permanently logged in then if somebody got your phone and got into Apple, for some reason, they would have access to going on there as if it was you or something so I can kind of see why it has to do that. Iām sure that the Apple VIS team will come up with something right now. They always find a way to make accessing this website easier for us.
2FA must be prioritized before passkey
With authenticator apps, it's a must have feature and is the minimum security standard I want to have on most sites.
I do completely get the complexity of a big cms updates breaking things and stuff like that so no pressure! :)
But yeah, sso, 2fa and passkey are mostly in the same category, so yeah. Best wishes and take your time!
"Remember Me" Option Added
Hi all,
A "Remember Me" option has just been added to the login page, and this should allow you to stay logged in even if you do not visit the site as frequently. As you navigate, it is past the "Show Password" button in the tab order. Please let me know if you encounter any difficulties or if the site still signs you out quickly.
Log out
Only happens sometimes, for some strange reason I have to log in. This had happen for many years now. It is not consistent and happens once in a blue moon.
Should Be Fixed Now
Hi Holger,
This should now be resolved. The next time you are asked to login, there will be a "Remember Me" option. When selected, the system will remember your user session.
Sweet!
Thanks Michael! š
