in our home there are 7 people all of whom use Apple products. all have iPhones, some also have iPads and some also have Apple watches. In the corner of the room there is an Apple iPod. Obviously all have Siri built in. If someone asks Siri a question there is no knowing which divice will answer , or after the lateest version, which follow-up question it will respond to. What Siri needs is the ability to change the activation word on each device. Is it possible that someone, if they haven't already, will come up with an app which will allow this?

Wouldn't it be easier to turn off Hey siri on a few devices?
I'm honestly asking this, not throwing crap around here. At least maybe with the iPads, it doesn't really seem like Hey Siri should be toggled on anyway. i mean just press the home button, or side one now, to ask it something. i mean the homepod, makes sense. As for the watch/s, I have to hold it close to my mouth for it to activate. so I guess the few times the phone thinks i'm talking to it, doesn't really make me wish for an ap like you are wishing for. but then again, little like that would bother me enough to even research it so hope you get whatever you want.
Feature request
Perhaps if enough people 'humbly' beg Apple for such a feature, it will happen in a future Siri update. Much like how Alexa devices can be programmed to respond to about 5 different 'Wake Words' like:
• Alexa
• Echo
• Computer
• Amazon
• Ziggy (Newer devices only)
So, possible? Yup. Just a matter of time I would think.
HTH. 😎
On a side note, I have no idea how we have the same display name. 🥸
