It has almost been ten years since I first was introduced to the world of the iPhone. It all started when I got my first iPhone, it was an iPhone 4s. I remember thrill of opening the box on Christmas morning and thinking this can't be happening right now. I remember setting it up for the first time and thinking oh my god the possibilities are going to be endless with this phone.
Once VoiceOver came on and I started downloading apps for the first time I was thinking, this is going to be lots of fun. Ever since I have owned an iPhone it has truly changed my life for the better. I especially enjoyed listening to music on tune in radio. But the highlight for me was knowing that I can use Facebook along with my sited friends and family. Apps like look tell money reader allowed me to finally allowed me to sort my money the way I saw fit. I am very thankful for the fact that I got this phone for Christmas in 2011. That is a day that I will never forget.

my foray to iOS
I got my first iPod touch in 2011. I was in rehab but left in a matter of hours. I didn't know anything about. I took it to Chris Judge, with CNIB, and he set it up for me. before that point, I assumed touchscreens were inaccessible. when chris found out about my cereberal polsy, he paired his keyboard and consaquently, I never learned the touchscreen, I downloaded looktell money reader, as he demoed it. then, I went crasy downloading apps. I thought of it as a novelty. by the end of that ownership, had eight pages of apps. some were sensabul, but some weren;t, like talking ben the dog. I'm not sure if the ipod still works but if i could get it back just to play with it for a few hours, that would be seesome.
