Hello all,
For those of you who put your own content on Youtube, is it mainly your own videos, or audio content being put up? I am totally blind, and am wondering how feasible it would be to put up videos, if it was just me recording them. Was thinking that audio only would be easier to do, and it's what I am more comfortable doing, at this point. Thank you for any feedback regarding this topic.

Youtube Audio Only
Hi, Jess.
Strictly speaking, you cannot have a Youtube upload of audio only, there has to be something on the screen. I have a Youtube channel to which I upload weekly, using a combination of high-quality audio and still pictures taken by my phone, for which I either use my normal camera, Tap Tap See or Selfiex. To encode and upload the Youtube video, for want of a better word, I use a wonderful website, http://www.tunestotube.com.
You will need to have a google account and a Youtube channel, obviously, to be able to use this. There is a free version of the service, but this does have a lot of advertising, also a captia to solve every time you wish to upload anything. I recommend purchasing the $10 upgrade, as this illiminates all the advertising and the captia, plus giving you a lot more features. The website is extremely accessible and the developer is very helpful.
I have found this site a real boon and I hope it's of some help to you.
re: tunes to tube
Looks good, but most of my mp3s I upload to youtube are 300 mb or bigger. 175 mb for db and google drive is very very very small. I think that might be an API limit but with bandwidth not being an issue I don't see how this could still be the case.
You also can only upload up to 100 mb mp3s. This should not be an issue again as bandwidth and stuff should be unlimited. And the mp3 could be removed from tunes to tube after it's uploaded and exported to youtube. Most places have a limit. I upload as I said 300-500 mb mp3s most of which are 4-5 hours long.
