I've used gazelle before, and successfully sold my 5th generation touch using the site. Went off without a hitch. Of course there are always sites like blindbargains and the blind buy-sell-trade list, but if you want a site that takes care of shipping for you, this is the way to go.

Yes, Gazelle works. I'd advise that you shop around though. For example at the time I sold my iPhone 6s Amazon was offering more than Gazelle. Of course this was in terms of an Amazon credit but since I get so much stuff there that is the same as cash to me. (smile) Point is, look around for the best offer.

Must agree with the above comment. I typically find that Gazelle does offer straight up cash if that is what you want. However, they never offer you very much compare to other sites. Although, they do have vending machine in some cities like mine that you can get the cash now and the transaction is seemless. Now also like the above comment. Yes, Amazon is by far the best place to get the most of your device value. They only downfall is that it is in the form of Amazon cash. So if you shop on Amazon frequently then this would be the best option. Best Buy also buy back your devices. This can also be done at the store or what the others do. That is they ship a container for you and you simply mail them in. All mail in by all three of these suggestions do take time but I never had any issues with any of them. Best Buy offers the same concept of Amazon which they give you the money in a Best Buy card. I always find Best Buy in between Amazon and Gazelle when it comes to how much they will give you. For example a recent search on an old Apple device that I had was going for $55 from Gazelle. Best Buy would give me $70. Lastly, Amazon would give me $86. So it was Amazon for me. That is quite a bit of a difference. Almost all of the devices that I have sold have been that big of a difference. Always remember that you will always get more if you can sell the device yourself. Like BlindBargains or even your local CraigLists. Its all depends in how much effort you want to put in to this and how much you are willing to accept.

Honestly they are giving me $455 for a MBP late 2012. I can't even get that on the campus market.

I sold my iPhone 5 in late November on Craig’s List. I had a sighted friend take pictures, which I uploaded with my post. A buyer contacted me within a week and we met the next day at my neighborhood police station half a mile from my home here in Chicago. The shipping was free, if I don’t include the lunch I ate to give me the energy to walk to the police station to meet the buyer. I was given a fistful of $20 bills and a father received my unscratched iPhone with all its accessories for his son. I got more money than I would have received on eBay, once all the fees are considered.
