Just a note to let the staff and whoever is doing the programming know that not all apps that are being submitted are appearing in their proper places under the category list. Here are just a few that should be checked on: imobsters...should be under games and says it's under games, but can't be found. I didn't think it was on the list so I tried to post it and that's how I found the listing but when you search games category, it isn't showing up. Also Radium Radio and Radical both supposed to be under music are not showing up when you search the music category, but they are posted by people as they show up in the newly added list. There might be others out there, but these are the ones I found so someone might want to check this and find out why they say submitted but aren't showing up under their category lists.

Can you see them when you browse the app directory or are they just plain gone? I'm no programmer but just asking anyways just incase. Take care and be blessed.

Hello kithri,

Thanks for bringing this up for our attention. I believe you and I had this conversation before? Hopefully, we can find out in what is going on.

Now that is very puzzling. For example, if you visit this page.
http://www.applevis.com/ios-app-directory/games?page=5

The iMobsters will be listed about the 8th one down on this list. All I have done is went to the Categories. Selected the Games. Kept hitting the Next until I reached to this page. That game is listed.

Make sure there are no filters applied for your search. For example on that same page I have given you. Gind the part where it starts with the following:
Games
Show only free or paid?
and etc.

Now in this area be sure to have nothing selected. This way it will show everything.

Unfortunetly, I also found the other apps you have mentioned under the Music Category just fine.

So make sure there no filtering being set on by you. If you continue to have issues. Please let us know. I would also like to see if any one else have this issue?

Maybe it's the filtering then and not the apps not showing in the lists. If the filter selection is supposed to help narrow down what kind of apps you want to find and an app you know for sure is fully accessible, shouldn't it show up in the list even with the fully accessible filter checked and that's the part that wasn't happening. Why would it show up in the list of apps when no filters are checked and then you have a large list of apps that some of which aren't accessible at all so using the filter eliminates those kinds of apps. Try checking the fully accessible and the has some issues but can be worked around filters and then see why they won't show up. I hope that makes sense. Thanks, take care.

Hello kithri,

Yes, it would be the filtering on your side that is not causing you to see these applications that you have mentioned. Take a good look at the accessibility option that has been given for each of these apps by the original poster.

iMobsters
- The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use.

Radium ~ Perfect Internet Radio
- There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

Radical.FM - Radio Re-Defined
- There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

So if you have only selected  The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use. iin your filtering. You will not get any of those mentioned above. So that is why you haven't been seeing them at all.

However, remember that you can select more than one set of options with your filtering. Here are those options that are given to you when you apply the filtering.

Usability Rating:
- The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.
- The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use.
- The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface makes the app very difficult to use.
- There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.
- There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.
- Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.
- The app is totally inaccessible.

So if you had selected say these two set of filters. The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use and The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use. You would have then seen the iMobsters.

Remember that one person that might consider as being fully accessible may have others think differently. A rule of thumb that the Editorial Team has are the following.

If some elements or buttons that are not labeled. We would considered these not being Fully Accessible. We would consider them as There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

So what we recommend is that before you submit a new app that you make sure when you are searching to see if that app already exist. That you have your filtering turned off. Plus, we have also included a secondary check. Many or some may realize this. When you are submitting an app to AppleVis. On the submission page. Once you have entered the App Name. As you come down to the part where you select the Category. There is a automatic search check to see if an similiar app already exist. This helps you and others to make sure there aren't something already on the site.

Please don't let this deter you or to anyone to submit an app to the site. We prefer that you post something after you do a search first. If for any reason that it has already been posted on to the site. No problem at all. We will remove the app posting and usually will contact you if it has already been posted. We understand it can be confusing at times so we are here to help in any way we can for you and others.

Thanks for bringing this up to us of your troubles. Now that we know that it was just a simple matter of understanding the filtering process. We hope this makes more sense to you and how it works.

Yep, I guess it was a mix up on my part so sorry for all the trouble. Feel free to delete this entire post thing if you want. Now I see what I missed and it's totally on my end. I should of thought of that other filter option but my brain is so crammed with medical terms and stuff from college, can't think clearly sometimes. Thanks for checking though and it's good to know that this site has actual staff that read the forums. Have a great weekend.
Lol. No need to remove the thread. I think this is a learning experience for all as I've been behind in postings and looking at the site myself. Tc and good luck.
