Hi, my name is Paras. Is the jailbreaking apple tv second jeneration accessible. After the tv is jailbroken, does voice over read all menus? Thanks

Hello: Jailbreaking the Apple TV 2 does work quite well with voiceover. All menus read and most add on applications will also read with VO. To jailbreak the Apple TV 2 you will need software and a micro usb cable to connect the Apple TV 2 to your computer. Visit www.seas0npass.com to download the software you will need. I found that the only way I could access the create IPSW button in Seas0npass was to use system access and the virtual mouse mode (I tried with Jaws 13, NVDA, and System Access) and SA was the only screen reader that could find the graphic. Next you will want to install ATV flash (Black) to access media on your home network making the Apple TV 2 an accessible media player. (If you don’t want to do this, I don’t recommend jailbreaking the apple TV 2 as all functions are the same after the jailbreak other than the ability to install 3rd party apps. ATV Flash (Black) is available from firecore.com for a small cost. Good luck!
