How does one update an app version?

Hello all, I was just simply wondering as a user of this community, how is one able to update an app version? To use an example. The version of Fleksy currently is 1.8 yet still presently it remains at 1.7.2 Can this only be done via members of the applevis editorial team or is any member able to update such information with the use of a non-register or registered account. In other words, what is the process involved to achieve this goal? You see, I have spotted that certain apps are not updated from time to time therefore not always reflecting the current version number of an app. This would be mis-informed information for the end-user who may of noticed this too. So I just wanted to point this out and wondered if we can all do it or only certain members of the community. I look forward to feedback from those who may know about this. Thanks

Hello Daniel, Unfortunately, the only people that can update any app entry pages are the original submitters and the team members. However, there is something that you and other users can do for us. This would be greatly appreciated by everyone that can or want to help us out. What you can do is leave a Comment for that app entry. Leave a Comment that explains the latest version along with anything about the accessibility. So let us know if it has stayed the same or if something has changed in regard to the accessibility. This would help us and the original submitter to make those necessary changes. We do please ask all of the users that have submitted their apps on to our site to please update the entry from time to time. This would not only be great for our users to know that this contains the most accurate ratings but to also help the team out. We do not have the time to check each and every app to see if they are up to date. We are like everyone else here on the site. We have day jobs and schools. So we need wonderful users like you to help us out. The more everyone pitch in to help us. The better the site will be. So knock yourself out! Give us a help and start leaving those Comments! ;) Thanks so much! HTH
Hi AnonyMouse, many thanks for getting back to me. Of course what you have explained makes complete sense. We all have busy lives and live in different parts of the world etc. So I will try to help out where I can. Guess what? After reading your comment I decided to go and track down the apps that I thought were out of date. It soon became clear though that the ones that I thought were out of date have been updated to there latest versions. LOL I did update the Youtube Capture app though. Copying and pasting the "What's New" into a comment and submiting it but other than that one app everything else as far I could see, was up to date. Looks like someone beet me too them! LOL Thanks again Daniel
Daniel, That is wonderful. Pass the word around to your friends and such. The more that can help scour the app entries. The better. :) No problem and thanks for your help. You have a good day yourself.
