Dear AppleVis Community,
It is with immense joy and heartfelt gratitude that I write to you today, to celebrate not only the continued existence of this remarkable platform but also the beginning of a new chapter. AppleVis has been a guiding light for so many of us who navigate the world differently, and to witness its revival after a period of uncertainty fills me with immense pride and happiness.
AppleVis has never been just a website. It is a sanctuary for millions of blind and visually impaired users across the globe, a place where we gather to share knowledge, seek advice, and find solutions that make the digital world accessible to us all. For me, AppleVis has been a constant companion in my journey with technology, empowering me to embrace the ever-changing landscape of innovation and accessibility.
When it seemed like the future of this cherished platform was in jeopardy, many of us were left with a profound sense of loss. But thanks to the incredible team at Be My Eyes, who recognized the irreplaceable value of AppleVis, the website has not only been saved but rejuvenated. To the entire Be My Eyes team, I extend my deepest thanks. Your acquisition of AppleVis is nothing short of a miracle for our community, and it reassures us that this indispensable resource will continue to flourish and serve future generations of visually impaired individuals.
With this new chapter, I feel more hopeful than ever about what lies ahead. The synergy between AppleVis and Be My Eyes promises to be a powerful force in the world of accessibility, combining two visionary platforms that have always prioritized the needs and experiences of the blind community. I, like so many others, am overjoyed to see this partnership bloom, and I believe it will lead to even greater advancements in how we access technology.
The AppleVis platform has always meant more to me than words can express. It is a space where I’ve found not only technical guidance but also a sense of belonging—a community that understands, supports, and empowers. Knowing that it is now in the capable hands of Be My Eyes fills me with confidence that its mission will continue to thrive, touching more lives and breaking down barriers for blind users around the world.
I can’t fully convey how happy I am to be writing this today, to my absolute favorite website, and to a community that has meant so much to me personally. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single person who contributed to this revival—the Be My Eyes team, the creators of AppleVis, and the countless users who never stopped believing in its importance.
Together, we have ensured that this beacon of accessibility remains bright. And together, we will continue to create a world where no one is left behind in the pursuit of knowledge, technology, and empowerment.
Here’s to AppleVis, and here’s to all of us!

Ditto from Me
I echo these sentiments completely. Today has been and will continue to be great for me. I'm going out to eat later, but that's not the point although that will be fun. To keep this on topic, I only recently discovered Be My Eyes but it is a wonderful app and I'm so thankful that the team over there decided to get on board and help out. What exactly this will mean for us in the future I don't know, but it can only be positive. So thanks once again to everybody involved in reviving AppleVis, and I look forward to yet more participation.
Cheers!
Can't stop clicking back to this site, and seeing all these familiar names again thrills me. What a community we have.
