Wireshark Network Packet capture: Is it accessible with VoiceOver?

Hello, Has anyone attempted to use Wireshark to analyze network traffic with VoiceOver enabled? If so, is it accessible? I do not currently have access to a Mac computer, but Wireshark is completely inaccessible under Windows, and I was just wondering if accessibility was better for Wireshark on Mac. This software is used in some of the IT courses I'm attending, and it would be good if I could find an accessible version. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thank you, Dane

I tried it for a course I took a few months ago and it was totally inaccessible.

There is a command line version, called tshark, that is pretty accessible. It doesn't have everything the GUI version does, but it's definitely a start. In order to install it, you need Brew: the package manager. Additionally, the new wireshark beta was pretty accessible when I tried it a couple of months ago. Supposedly, they're rewriting the app so it's not java-based, hence the improved accessibility. Let me know if you need more info on installing tshark or if you have any luck with the beta.

Hi.
I haven't tried this on mac yet, but I did download it on windows yesterday morning just to look. Much to my surprise and delight, the windows version does now appear to be accessible.
This is huge for those of us that work in the networking industry.
Just to clarify, you want version 2.0.2 of wireshark.
