Hi
What is the most intuitive way of installing Windows 11 on an M1 MacBook?
I read there are various options like UTM, Parallel, VMWare etc, so which one is the best option for installing and using Windows 11?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
In my opinion, the best option is using UTM. It's free and fully accessible. If you follow along this tutorial on YouTube, it is fairly intuitive. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7kUk-npZzk
Hope this helps

with the invention of the m1 processor, there is no more bootcamp. you would have to to a VM and VMWare fusion is not an option, as they will not support the m1 chipset for some reason.

Hi, specially for Laura Tosetto, hope someone could answer these questions using m1 or m2 macbooks.

1. If I ever decide to change my intel macbook air 2019, which would be the main differences of bootcamp compared to UTM?

2. Would I be able to run any windows program / application using UTM or are there some exceptions?

3. Which is your main problem with UTM if there is such?

Thanks in advance.
