macOS and Mac Apps

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but whatsapp on mac seems to have been imroved with accessibility in mind. Now we can tab across the menus and can move up and down the conversation list without having to use the VO key. I've only just tried it again after a while as was finding it annoying so these changes may have been around for a while.

Hey.

So a further play, reading the edit box where I've written doesn't wor. I can type into it, but I can't edit it. I'm wondering if I've somehow got the older version as I recall this was the behaviour of the version before they ported from IOS? This is the version downloaded from the app store though and I understand that the recent one is the only one now available? Confused.

No idea. I'd assume so though with the usual restrictions of anything on the web.

I'm not sure which phones get it, but I'm going to be trying the iPhone share thing on Monday when it's released to beta. There are some interesting accessibility implications if we can use IOS apps on our computer direct from our phones.
