For me, macOS Ventura is the best version so far. Braille is working well, in versions older than Monterey, Braille was a mess, espeically when using the single item mode. Let's hope that the "safari not responding" and all the other stuff concerning progressive web apps will be fixed in the near future.
Back when interacting, as JFW used to do like in "forms" mode, made sense. Now? Rip voice over to it's bloody beating heart, stop it with a ton of cocaine then design it from the ground up to umm work? Unless blinks on the inside and wheelchair users and those with autism, nothing's gonna change.
I'm not sure which was/is my favorite version. I started out on Mac OS X Mavericks, which had constant speech crashes. But those seem to more or less be a thing of the past, and I'm happy about that. As for Braille, I don't know yet as I haven't used it on here. I'm hoping that when my brother is in town he can help me connect my NLS eReader to USB for use with my Mac and/or iPhone, if I don't figure that out sooner. I'm not betting on it though since he's going to be busy with the ACB National convention, but who knows? Anyway there ya have it. One more thing before I go: Eloquence on the Mac is rocking my world!
I would have to say Ventura's my favourite. Apple fixed a lot of crap wrong with macOS in my opinion. After 2 years, my Mac and I are getting along mostly and it's no longer a toxic relationship :)
