Hi.
I've read about all bugs that are in the new osx versions.
So I decide to not upgrade from montain lion.
When I have posted to other places, they say that the bugs doesn't exist any more.
How is this?
Are all bugs that I read on applevis.com for real now or not?
It would be nice to know how it is.

true extent of bugs in os 10 yosemite
They still exist .
I know this because every time I go back a page especially on this site I have to reload or refresh the page every time.
bug list
This is a list of accessibility bugs and changes in OS X Yosemite. http://www.applevis.com/blog/apple-mac-os-x-news/features-and-bugs-os-x-yosemite
Unless the bug is preceded by a fixed in version number, where version number is the update that fixed the bug, the bug is still present. Also, check the iOs and OS X accessibility bugs in the site navigation.
Hmm, that was strainge.

I wrote to an e-mail lists.
mac4theblind@freelists.org.
and they said that there was no such bugs. for example if I wanted to search for something on a site with safari, with the vo search command it would work.
It says on the bugs that it doesn't.
In this case I don't Think that I'll upgrade, I can't use the mac with so much bugs.
I'll keep it short and sweet
I'll keep it short and sweet here, as there's an extensive and thorough list of bugs in yosemity. Whilst there are bugs, and will always be bugs, software is not always bug free, it doesn't keep me from using my mac on a daily basis. Sure there are bugs, but I find work arounds that work for myself and possibly other. I took the plunge and updated. I like to keep my mac running the latest version of the OS, not for updating reasons, but also for security reasons.
AppleVis Accessibility Bug Database
AppleVis has a database listing all of the currently-known accessibility bugs in the OS X operating system: http://www.applevis.com/bugs/osx/active.
Ok, then I know how it is.

Hope this will be fixed in the 10.0.3 release.
Impossible to be definitive
It’s worth noting that there are times when it’s hard to be definitive about the status or even the existence or not of bugs.
People use their computers in different ways, so may not hit the magic combination of action, software and hardware which is necessary to trigger a bug. Some bugs are infrequent, so may not reproduce consistently. There are occasions when what is reported as a bug is actually the way that something is designed to work. And, I guess, ultimately we all have subjective views on what constitutes a bug and what we are prepared to tolerate and work around.
So, what I am trying to say, is that there are few reported bugs which everybody agrees exist or that you will definitely encounter.
Just terrible
I can say that yosemity is just terrible. VO performance is worse than in Mavericks, switching voices is as buggy as previously and Apple's solution to VO issues in Top sites in Safari and Preview app made them unusable. In fact, I did not have any problems with top sites in Mavericks, but Apple promptly fixed that in yosemity, so now I have forgotten what's top sites.
Even my sighted brother could not recognize my Mac when he first tried it with yosemity installed, because yosemity is just so terrible as compared with Mavericks, even for sighted users.
P.S. Backspacing letters is terribly buggy and slow as well!!!
Not perfect, but not terrible either
Felix, you and I demonstrate how accessibility can be subjective, as my own personal experience of Yosemite is quite different to your own. I’m not going to claim that it’s perfect, but I think that your statement that Yosemite is terrible in terms of accessibility is an extreme view that’s unlikely to be shared by most other users. In my case, backspacing works just fine. As for Top Sites, I have to admit that it’s not something that I ever use, so cannot comment on whether it works with VoiceOver or not. However, assuming that it is broken, it still strikes me as a rather minor issue on which to write off the whole OS as terrible.
I am in agreement with
I am in agreement with scruffy ted here. The os is not terrible. My thoughts are that it works just fine on my end. You'll always have bugs in the os, theres not a thing that can be done about that. If it were so bad, maybe try restoring from an earlier backup if you had one of mavericks. Like I said, I'm not having any issues on this end, and really look forward to seeing what comes out from apple next.
