What is the current state of Chrome accessibility on macOS Sequoia?

macOS and Mac Apps

Hello,
I am a software engineer working at a private company that requires me to use a MacBook.
While I have over 15 years of experience with Windows, I am relatively new to macOS, having used it for about eight months.
Currently, I am running macOS 14.4 and considering an upgrade since I heard that macOS Sequoia has fixed a major accessibility issue for me—specifically, in macOS 14, the Vocalizer voice cannot properly read words written in mixed case.
However, I’ve also heard reports from people who upgraded that Chrome's accessibility has degraded for them. I’m unsure whether this is due to the new macOS version or a recent Chrome update, as I have also experienced accessibility issues in Chrome even before upgrading.
For example, I used to be able to edit documents in Confluence without major issues. However, now, after typing about two lines, the focus will unexpectedly snap out of the edit field. I then have to navigate back, interact with the field, find my place in the document, and continue typing—only for it to snap back again, making the site nearly unusable for me.
I’m curious to know whether Chrome’s overall accessibility has improved in macOS 15.3 compared to its state at launch.
I’d appreciate any insights!
