I've just recently started encountering an issue where I'll be using the computer as usual and suddenly Voiceover will start stuttering the last sound it made over and over again, about once per second; then I hear the startup chime and find myself back at the login screen - sometimes without the ability to turn VO on (though this last part may be user error or something to do with my volume, not sure). Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Have you heard of a problem like this before? Thus far I haven't found any pattern as far as what apps are open, what I'm in the process of doing, etc. I never have much open so I can't be overtaxing the system RAM or anything.
I'm on a 2014 MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM. I haven't had it that long, but til now, I've been absolutely thrilled with its performance...so, needless to say, I'm a little bummed. Oh, and the nearest Apple store is like two hours away, so I'd really love to figure this out withot having to take it in for someone to look at...
