weird bug in Amadeus Pro

Hello everyone,
I have been using Amadeus for years, and it has always been such a great app. However, over the last few months, I have been having an issue where when a file is relatively short, arrows work as normal to either rewind or fast forward through the sound. But when it gets longer, or when multiple sounds are pasted over one another, then the arrows stop working as expected. Left arrow should still rewind, but it fast forwards instead, and right arrow also fast forwards. This happens, for example, when a spoken track is pasted over background music.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you fix it? If you have and there is no fix, what audio editor are you all using now? I really need to be able to edit audio without bugs like this.
