Hello everyone,
Recently, I reset all my VoiceOver settings to factory defaults in the Accessibility Utility because of some strange issues I was experiencing. The good news is that this resolved some problems, but the bad news is that I now have to reconfigure all my VoiceOver preferences.
However, I noticed that I lost the functionality of reading the mouse pointer content. What I mean is that when I swipe on the trackpad, my VoiceOver no longer reads the content where the mouse pointer is focused. Sometimes the VoiceOver cursor doesn’t go to certain places, so I’m used to trying to do something with the mouse on the trackpad. But now, after resetting the VoiceOver settings, I’ve lost this functionality.
I repeatedly searched in the Access Utility for the option to read the mouse content but couldn’t find it. I only found the option “Speak when mouse cursor enters a window” but couldn’t find how to turn on the read mouse content switch.
If you know how to solve my problem, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
