using the OS X messages app to chat on Facebook.

Hello everyone!
hope all are doing well!
as the subject mentions I'm willing to chat on Facebook using the messages app on the mac, just like we got the Facebook messenger.
I have hurd Facebook API has changed which means third party apps will not work.
previously I had the messages app working to chat for FaceBook, but its not working anymore any clues?
I remember when I got my mac in2013 I was using the app cold Adium for the same purpose. None of the acts are working because the Facebook has stopped supporting them if I am not mistaken, waiting for the responses.
