Hi all. I'm using a Macbook pro, with the trackpad commander on. As I just did writing this message, as I'm typing my forearms, my wrists, and other times, seem to bump the trackpad. Is there any way to stop this? I find myself having emails messed up and other text written that i have to fix. Thanks for any help.

I would suggest either (a) turning the Trackpad Commander off (VO plus roter twist on the trackpad), or (b) holding your arms in a different position. Sorry if this sounds sarcastic. I really don't mean it to, but I can't think of any other way to word it.

I've been experiencing this issue too on my Mac Book Air. Not sure at this point if there's a shortcut for turning off the trackpad completely, but here's what I did. I haven't yet had a chance to verify that this works or doesn't work, but I shut down my Mac completely and am going to come back to it later on today as I have something else to do in a bit. But I went into System Preferences with Vo plus M, and then I tabbed all the way to the Accessibility options button. It's a ways down, but I unchecked the box that allows for scrolling. Somebody else on here probably has a better answer though.

Do a vo (ctrl + option) and a conter clockwise rotor ... as if you were turning a dial to the left. To turn it on ... do vo + rotor in the oposit direction.
