Titling Tracks in iTunes

Hi everyone. I might've posted about this before, so please forgive me if this is a repeat. But I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this. When attempting to edit track info in iTunes and then saving my changes, the track order gets all mixed up. I thought this would be fixed but not yet. I have several tracks that I downloaded as part of messages on a mailing list, and some stuff that was burned for me and then I imported it into iTunes. This is happening on my mid-2013 MacBook Air running iTunes 12.7 and OS X High Sierra. Any help greatly appreciated. I'll try to ask this elsewhere too. But nobody around here uses VoiceOver except for me and a sister, and she isn't as advanced with computers as are her brothers.
