Hi Not sure if I was the one to ask this before and admittedly to lazy to look for it. Is there another app that's accessible on Mac for X? The "twiter" one is a pain and i haven't used it much so i'm not not as "discoverable" I'd like to post more. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Using Sonoma on an M1 Mac Thx

Unfortunately, X has locked down its API so there are no third party clients anymore. The Twitter app is okay, but not great.

I know it's been locked down, but is Spring going to work? Also I just saw on the app store, it's almost 20 bucks. Does that include any subscription? I know devs need to make money, everyone does, but the subscription model just irks me. Thanks for your help. Oh and is there any reliable way to know you're downloading a Mac app and not an app for the iPhone or iPad? I can't always tell before it's downloaded.

As far as I can tell, it's the onlly one you can download on mac. I think it's great. It's much more accessible and more pleasurable to use so thank you for reminding me of it. regarding the price, I guess it boils down to how much you dislike the stock twitter app and how much you use twitter. I did try to migrate to mastadon but really didn't get on with it. Following people is a pain in the bum.

Okay, just an update. I downloaded it again and have found it's not great as it's not updating my notifications. I wonder if something has broken. The main feed works but, maybe steer clear for now.

Heya there. I am having the same problem. Is there a way to fix the notification issue? I've been googling lots of suggestions, even seen the podcast Johnathan Mosen Has done for this particular app, but no luck. It just tosses me notifications thad I received something like a year ago. I'm planning to ask for a refund because it looked great, but it's not doing what a basic tw client should do so...
Thanks!

X has abandoned accessibility and inclusiveness as far as the Mac is concerned. The native titter app hasn't been updated sonce late last year, and third-party clients have been locked out. So even buying a client that worked decently before doesn't mean much anymore, not when they'vwe basically abandoned their own native app.

Took a shot as the lady of a band I follow uses that a bit so wasn't sure. as it is, when I post, it still thinks i'm not human, I was just trying to become more active. I hope elon's son never has a disability, or any of his children. Then I wanna see him cover his hind end so fast.
