Hi,
I've been looking at taking screen shots with my Mac for my work, however, the only key command I found was the Command Shift 3 which takes the screen shot of the entire screen. What I'm wondering about, is if there's a key command which will take the screen shot of the focused application.
Can you help
Cheers

Command+shift+4 activates a click and drag function where you can select portions of the screen to capture. Instead of clicking and dragging, you can hit the space bar and that will allow you to screenshot windows that are open on your screen. The cursor will turn into a camera that you can hover over a window and click to screen capture the entire window and put the file on your desktop.
Command+control+shift+3 and command+control+shift+4 Will capture the images and put them directly into the clipboard so you can paste it into an application as opposed to having the file appear right on the desktop.

there is but it's a bit flakey. What I do is just take a picture of the screen wit ht eapplicationin focus. That seems to do good for my testing purposes and stuff when I write my usability reports to companies

Take care.
