First I'd like to say thank you to everyone who is responsible for making this site possible. I would be so lost at times without the invaluable knowledge freely given by the Applevis team and the site members.
On to my question! I currently have a MacBook Pro 2013 and I would like to install Windows 7 on it. From everything I've read, it would seem that Boot Camp would probably be my best option. I primarily want Windows installed for gaming purposes. Also, I am looking for an external keyboard with a numpad rather than remapping keys. I'm not particular as far as whether its bluetooth or USB. Any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Keyboards.
Hi Lola Granola :) great username.
I live in the UK and know you can get USB keyboards very cheap here, for about 2 to 5 pounds.
I'm sure you can get the same in the US or Canada.
I've just learned that us and canada are to diffirent places. so that's why i put both down, but wouldn't the US cover the whole of America?
I'm sure if you look on amazon you'll find USB keyboards at very cheap prices.
I hope this helps.
boot camp isn't supported in windows seven I don't think?
Hi Lola. I agree, your user name is awesome. :) Someone else can correct me but I am pretty sure you need windows eight now if you want to use boot camp. as the previous commenter said, Amazon will probably have the keyboard you need. Personally I wish I never used the riht side number pad, that's how I learned numbers, now when using the top row, I have to count like a dork. :) Hope you get it installed though.
Windows 7 Still Supported
Windows 7 is still supported on everything besides the new Mac Pro, Apple's professional workstation solution.
Brad and Siobhan Thanks, I'm
Brad and Siobhan Thanks, I'm a big Berk Breathed fan. I wouldn't care so much as far as a numpad goes, but I've used it with jaws for more years than I care to admit. lol I suppose the thing to do would be to teach myself to use a different way via remapping keys, but I don't have the patience for that at this point in time.
Michael thank you for the knowledge concerning Windows 7. I was hoping that was the case. I may take the jump next week and try it out.
