Sent this feedback to Apple accessibility:
Alright, so VoiceOver on Mac has a ton of issues with web navigation—that’s a whole other topic, but I’ll submit separate feedback for those soon.
I’d like to suggest adding an option in VoiceOver Utility to announce the tab’s name when navigating with Control+Tab.
Right now, when I switch tabs in Safari using Control+Tab or Control+Shift+Tab, VoiceOver only reads whatever item has keyboard focus, so I don’t always hear the tab’s title—like if I’m on YouTube or something. To know which tab I’m on, I have to check the window title or use Command+Shift+Backslash to list all tabs.
This should definitely be an option rather than a forced change since some users might prefer the current behavior. I’d love to see this implemented before macOS Sequoia 15.4 is released to public. Thanks!

I agree this should be an option
If your on the Beta use the Feedback app and submit it as a suggestion. I think you will get the option to choose accessibility and then voiceover that would be the correct way to file it. After each beta add a comment if it hasn't been added this is not added as of build 1234 as an example.
@Dennis Long
Thank you! I’d like to ask if we can view or do anything with the feedback numbers users have been posting here on AppleVis. Also, I will create feedback when I get a chance using my beta version.
You don’t need to be on a beta to use feedback assistant.
You can open feedback assistant by going to applefeedback://in your web browser.
The feedback assistant will open, and you can sign in with your Apple ID.

thank you for the information!!! Thank you for sending your feedback to Apple. Your files and diagnostics will be sent in the background.
Nice, I agree. No the users…
Nice, I agree. No the users can't do anything with the feedback except be polite and proving to Apple with those IDs that others have reported the same.
