Hello, I am writing this to see if I can get some help with a strange Keyboard issue my wife is experiencing. When she presses the tab key, VoiceOver says, Ignoring Next keypress. furthermore, If you press command w, or command q, Voice over acts like it's navigating a webpage, and says, no next blockquoat found. Any ideas on how to fix this? This urgent, and I kind of need an answer quickly.

That's not a quicknav issue. somehow your wife has turned control option lock on. she can disable it with control option semicolon.

No, it's not any of these. Some how, it fixed it self, but this was after she went to clean some water off her keyboard.
Sounds like a key was stuck
It sounds like a key or two were stuck down. You said there was water on the keyboard, and that would certainly explain things. Even without water, I've experienced my Mac thinking I was holding down a modifier when I actually wasn't. It's extremely rare, and I find that holding down all modifiers for a second fixes it, but it can happen. I suspect this is universal, as it happened on Windows as well, and I've seen it on a few different keyboards.
